Din Group was established in 1954 with a small venture in Leather Industry. Today it is a major player in the economy of Pakistan.
Din Group decided to contribute in the National Cause of overcoming the power crisis. Under the dynamic leadership of the Group and strong Human Resource, Din Energy Ltd. was founded in 2014 and obtained LOI from Government of Sindh, Pakistan for development of 50 MW Wind Power Project.
The Company was allocated 325 acres of land in Wind Corridor of Jhimpir in District Thatta of Sindh province. The Company has completed the following milestones.
- Generation License in 2017
- Tariff in 2018
- Financial Close in 2019
- Construction started in 2020
- COD achieved in March 2022
